Powered Up

We know that it’s hard to make it every week to Powered Up, but that doesn’t mean that your kids can’t learn the timeless truths that they missed!

So, here are the Power Points and Prove It Passages from this session of Powered Up. While this memory work has lasting value that will benefit your kids for a lifetime, there is also the incentive of a day at Idlewild Park! Kids who have memorized all their memory work this year they will be rewarded with free admission to Idlewild!

We will give kids the opportunity to recite their memory work on April 30 at our end of year Farm Night celebration. If your child can’t be there, but would still like to finish their mememory work, please speak to Pastor Jon to make arrangements.

Don’t forget last week’s Power Point and Prove It! Passage:

The World Series is right around the corner – and so is “Take Me Out to the Ball Game!” Night at PoweredUP! This Thursday, October 23rd (5:30-7:30PM), we will enjoy hot dogs, chips, and ball park ambiance. You won’t want to miss it!

Join us this Thursday, October 16th, for “Mr. Potato Head Night!” We’re going to enjoy great conversation over a delicious meal, sing songs, continue our craft projects, play some fun games, and – you guessed it – learn a new Power Point and Prove It! Passage.

On Thursday, October 9th, we’re going to enjoy spaghetti and meatballs, carrot sticks, bread, and Rice Krispie treats together – all en route to a fun-filled night together. We’ll sing songs, play some games, learn our new “Power Points” and “Prove It Passages.” It’s going to be fun – don’t miss it!

Join us this Thursday for “Pizza and Sprite Night” (5:30-7:30PM @ MCC)! We’re going to sing songs, play games, spend time with God in His Word, and enjoy some great pizza together. Be there!!!!

Suggested donation: $2/person.

We officially launched the 2008-2009 Powered Up season last Thursday (9/18/08) – and what a great time we had! We sang silly songs, enjoyed popcorn and cotton candy, learned about “Power Points” and “Prove It Passages,” and even jumped liked kangaroos in the “Bounce House!”

If you couldn’t make it to our first meeting, don’t worry – we’ll be meeting again, this Thursday (9/25/08) at the same time (5:30-7:30PM). Thanks to all for making this great ministry possible!
